However, women are still underrepresented in the technology sector and their path to a STEM career can be challenging. The Bee Program<strong> IT Girls<\/strong> It is a step towards change \u2013 it gives girls self-confidence, inspires them to develop and shows them that their place is where they want to see it.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Thanks to this initiative <strong>we break gender stereotypes<\/strong> <strong>in the world of technology<\/strong> and ensure that the future generation of women has equal access to educational and professional opportunities. <strong>Every line of code written by the participants of this program is a small revolution \u2013 and we are proud to have been a part of it!<\/strong><\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u2013 When we decided to support the Bee IT Girls program, we wanted the girls participating in the courses to see for themselves that they can develop in accordance with what is in their hearts, what gives them joy and satisfaction \u2013 says Barbara Matkowska-W\u0142osek, Marketing Director at <strong>TIM SA<\/strong>. \u2013 In the near future, they will choose their profession \u2013 the job they will do. It is important that they do it in accordance with themselves, without considering stereotypes or the expectations of others. There are no female and male professions, there are simply professions for people. It is worth building such awareness from the beginning of education \u2013 she adds.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>I currently work as an automation tester, but it wasn&#039;t like that from the beginning. While still studying, which wasn&#039;t typically related to IT but was a strict field, I applied for the position of coordinator of a team of programmers. Part of my job at that time was testing the application we were creating. After half a year of working as a coordinator, I tried my hand at an independent position as an application tester and it turned out that this was it. I very quickly got the ISTQB certificate and looked for new challenges related to testing.<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>We congratulate all the program graduates and thank the company<strong> TIM <\/strong>for supporting such an important initiative. This is just the beginning \u2013 the future of technology is diverse and full of potential!<\/p>","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>Last week, the official closing ceremony of the Bee IT Girls program took place, as part of which 22 girls took part in programming courses funded by TIM SA.
